2025 ICS Solo & Chamber
Scholarship Competition

 Rules:

• The competition is open to Violin, Viola, Cello and Piano.

• For solo student, memorization is REQUIRED.

• Applicants may choose any pieces from any periods to be performed within the time limit.

• At least ONE original score needs to be given to the judges and the extra copy could be a photocopy of the original. ​

• Solo student will provide their own accompanist at their own expenses.

• Cut is allowed however it needs to be marked in the original score for the judges.

• Judges decision is final. All awards are discretionary. Judges are not required to name any winners if they feel no contestants are qualified, or they may name only one or two winners in a category.​

• All fees are non-refundable.​

• Trophy or certificate for First place, Second place, Third place, and Honorable mention.

• Scholarship --Sponsored by Ivy Chamber Strings:​

         Solo:

         1st place Winner:  $150

         2nd place Winner: $100

         3rd place Winner:  $50

         Chamber:

         1st place Winner:  $300

         2nd place Winner: $200

         3rd place Winner:  $100​​
